New Event Dialog
This dialog lets you enter information about a new event. It is opened from the
context menu in the
table of the events screen.
The event is not added to the database until you close the dialog by clicking on the OK button.
There is combo box for selecting the type of event. If there is no suitable
type, then simply enter a new type in the box.
The event host must be a customer. You can create a new customer by clicking on the "new" button. Even
if this person/company is not a customer, adding them as one allows you to track their details. Being a host
to an event also means it is quite likely that they will become a customer of yours.
The location box in the form can be used to enter details about where the event is being held. This
can be useful if you are taking an event booking and need to make a note of where it is.
